I am 28 years old.


When is your birthday? 
I was born on August 5, 1988.


Where are you from? 
I was born and raised in Oakland, California. I moved to Hayward during elementary school.


Where do you live?
I am currently in the process of moving from Vacaville, California to the Los Angeles area in Southern California.


What is your ethnicity? 
My grandmother on my mother's side is Japanese. My grandfather on my mother's side was half Filipino and half Spanish. My dad is Filipino. I am ultimately the combination of the three: Filipino, Japanese, and a tad bit of Spanish.


What is your current occupation?
I am a Registered Nurse on a Medical-Surgical/ Telemetry/ StepDown Unit. I am starting a new position as a RN on a Medical-Surgical/ Telemetry Unit in the Los Angeles area in October of this year.


What school did you obtain your Bachelor's of Science in Nursing?
Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, California.

Where did you obtain your first RN job? 
My first job as a RN was at a Skilled Nursing Facility.


What other jobs have you done as a RN? 
When I first started my nursing career, I started at a Skilled Nursing Facility. After about a year, I received a position as a School Nurse. While working full time as a School Nurse, I continued to work at the SNF on the weekends. Finally, I grew overwhelmed and tired of the SNF and decided to leave. While working as a School Nurse, I decided to find another job. I applied and received a position at a Medi-Spa performing laser hair removal and other noninvasive facial treatments. Not too long after that, I finally landed my first hospital job on an Adult Acute Care Unit.

What are your plans for the future? 
Well, for the near future, I definitely want to obtain my master's degree in nursing; however, I am still indecisive of what program I want to take. In addition to obtaining my masters degree, my hope is to inspire and motivate people through my blog. I am very new to the world of blogging, but I am going to take it a day at a time and enjoy the process.


What is your main focus right now? 
I want to transition into my new life in southern California and just embrace everything that comes along with it. This is going to be a great time in my life and I am very excited to be able to share this with the blogging world. I took a risk and went after my dreams, literally! I was afraid to leave my hometown and move to a new city, but I finally decided that I needed to do this now at this point in my life or I will always wonder... "What if?"
